| Welcome to the Wetpaint resource page for True Sin, an InsaneJournal-based roleplaying game based on the True Blood television series and the Southern Vampire Mysteries by novelist Charlaine Harris. We do not claim to own or have any rights to content owned by HBO and Charlaine Harris -- in other words, PLEASE don't sue us! True Sin is completely centered around original characters in a completely new setting, based on the mythological universe of True Blood. Other than relating to the overall mythology and canon established within the television show, True Sin has no connection to the HBO hit. There will be no canon characters. Feel free to browse the site using the links on the left side of this page. Throughout the site, you will find information relating to the overall premise and setting of True Sin, as well as the few rules and regulations we have. You'll also learn how to apply for a character in our community, and you'll see a breakdown of each character, regular and NPC, that will be featured in True Sin. The True Sin Wetpaint site is a constant work-in-progress, so be sure to keep checking in periodically. Much like True Sin itself, this site is fluid, constantly changing and evolving -- particularly as we move in True Sin's "second season." We established a lot of plotlines and themes in the "first season" of this game, and we look forward to diving even deeper into those stories to shake the foundation of True Sin's Chicago and those who call it home. On this page, you'll find an overview describing the overall tone and style of True Sin, as well as guidelines for character creation and a list of all the characters that currently call True Sin home.
